Keystone wins new contract to support the 2017 St Neots Awards

26 JUN 2017

We have been awarded a contract from St Neots Town Council to help them promote the 2017 St Neots Awards. Keystone will be managing the digital engagement element of the campaign on social media and in email communications.

Now open for entries, the St Neots Awards consists of eight key categories to showcase community excellence within the town. The programme calls on the St Neots community to put forward details of local individuals, charities or

community groups that deserve to be recognised for their successes and impact.

Now in its third year, the initiative was developed on the back of an excellent community engagement campaign for the St Neots Neighbourhood Plan between Keystone and St Neots Town Council in 2015.
A campaign to encourage nominations and applications is due to run until midnight Sunday 30th July, with entrants required to complete a simple application form to enter. Partner support comes from Black Cat 107, with the radio station providing a fantastic level of coverage to promote community awareness.

Unlike previous years where a judging panel has shortlisted and picked a winner, this year the St Neots community will have the opportunity to vote for their winner from each category once nominations close. This new method of picking winners enables the community to be fully involved with awards; acknowledging and rewarding the work and achievements of those around them. A celebratory awards ceremony scheduled is for Friday 29th September where the winners will be announced.

At present, St Neots Town Council is in the process of acquiring sponsorship for a number of remaining categories, with local businesses who are proud to show their commitment to the community being encouraged to get involved and to help celebrate the successes of St Neots.
More information on the awards, nomination and sponsorship is available from the programme website , with marketing promotions taking place across the town over the summer, as well as online on Twitter and Facebook.
