What do you do at Keystone – and how does that help our clients?

I’m responsible for leading the business, which at its heart means ensuring we always do our absolute best to support our clients and their outcomes. I’m also the one who’s constantly out and about, representing what we stand for and reiterating the importance of well-thought-out marketing and community engagement – be it at face-to-face networking events, through pro bono advisory sessions, or as a formal speaker.

Tell us about the moment you thought: “Yes! This is why I do this job.”

From the moment I established Keystone, I was deeply driven to bundle up all my previous marketing roles, experiences and observations and use them as a superpower to shape a team and make a difference – both in the work that we deliver and the relationships we build along the way.

What’s a personality trait you bring to work that doesn’t show on your CV?

It’s got to be my use of analogies to explain or simplify a concept or scenario – I just can’t help myself as I find it a powerful way to explain things… although some of my examples work better than others!

What’s one thing clients always appreciate about working with you?

Clients often mention my high energy and how it helps them feel at ease. I like to get to the heart of a brief quickly, spotting connections and sparking ideas along the way.

If you could give one tip to someone choosing a marketing partner, what would it be?

Ultimately, it’s about relationships – so more than anything, make sure you find someone you feel you can really trust and enjoy working with. If the values fit, make sure there’s also an impressive proof bank that showcases their approach to best practice delivery and clear outcomes.
