Communications and assets to unite a community.

Client: Cambridgeshire ACRE

The challenge

Cambridgeshire ACRE, one of the UK’s first rural county councils, needed to highlight the success of its EU funded Fenland LEADER programme. With the certainty of future funding in question, they required a clear and compelling campaign to showcase impact—targeted at influencing key stakeholders including DEFRA.

Our approach

We began with a focused strategy workshop, immersing ourselves in programme insights and identifying key messages and audiences. From there we developed a bespoke one-month campaign plan, creating a toolkit of ready-to-use assets including infographics, graphics and messaging for social and email, a press release, and lobbying letter templates. These were delivered alongside qualitative interviews with programme beneficiaries.

Impact
  • Delivered a comprehensive campaign toolkit: infographic, social messaging and graphics, press release, and stakeholder email templates.
  • Supported Cambridgeshire ACRE’s in house marketing team throughout execution.
  • Produced in-depth beneficiary interviews to reinforce campaign narratives.
  • Campaign became a springboard for engagement with DEFRA and other national policymakers.
  • Client feedback praised the fast grasp of complexity, impact-driven messaging and campaign reach:

Keystone was responsive, positive and supportive throughout and the end result has made a real difference to how we communicate with the world.
